We process only the data needed to recover your compensation and delete it when it is no longer necessary.

What data we process
- identification and contact data: name, e-mail, phone, address, ID document number (from the mandate);
- flight data: route, date, airline, flight number, booking, boarding passes, correspondence with the airline;
- bank details for transferring the compensation;
- minimal technical data when visiting the website: IP address, browser type, pages visited, kept in server logs.
Purposes and legal basis
- assessing eligibility and handling the claim: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
- representation before the airline, authorities and courts: performance of the contract and legitimate interest;
- issuing invoices and keeping accounting records: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c));
- replying to messages sent through the contact form: legitimate interest in answering requests.
We do not use your data for marketing without your explicit consent and we never sell it.
Who we share data with
The airline concerned, national enforcement bodies, courts and bailiffs, partner lawyers, our IT providers (hosting on Vercel, case records and e-mail on Google Workspace) and our bank, strictly as necessary. Some providers may be established outside the European Economic Area; in that case we use the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
How long we keep data
For the duration of the case and 3 more years after it closes, to defend against possible claims. Accounting documents are kept for 10 years as required by law. Data entered in the online checker without submitting a claim stays in your browser only and never reaches us.
Cookies
The website uses no tracking or advertising cookies and loads no third-party scripts. We only use the browser's local storage to keep the data you enter in the form until you submit it.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Write to contact@jet-claim.com; we reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Romanian data protection authority (dataprotection.ro).
Updates
This policy may be updated. The current version is the one published on this page, and material changes will be notified by e-mail to clients with active cases.
