Terms and conditions
Version in force from 1 January 2026. Please read them before signing the mandate.
1. The parties
Services are provided by Jet Claim S.R.L., registered office București, România, Trade Register no. J40/00000/2026, VAT no. RO00000000 (“Jet Claim”), to the natural person who completes the claim on the website and signs the mandate (the “Client”).
2. Scope of the service
Jet Claim assesses the Client's eligibility for compensation under Regulation (EC) No 261/2004 or equivalent rules, drafts and sends the claim to the operating carrier, handles correspondence and negotiations, files with the competent authorities and, where it sees fit, brings court proceedings through partner lawyers, in the name and on behalf of the Client.
3. The mandate
By signing the mandate, the Client authorises Jet Claim to represent them exclusively in connection with the flight indicated. The Client undertakes not to negotiate directly with the carrier during the mandate and to forward to Jet Claim any communication received from it. The Client declares that they have not assigned the claim and have not authorised another intermediary for the same flight.
4. The fee
The Jet Claim fee is 25% + VAT of the amount actually received as compensation. The fee includes all costs of the procedure, including court fees and partner lawyers' fees. If no amount is recovered, the Client owes nothing.
If the carrier pays the Client directly, the Client informs Jet Claim within 5 days and pays the fee within 14 days of the invoice.
5. Payment to the Client
Amounts received are transferred to the Client within 10 working days of receipt, to the bank account indicated, after deduction of the fee. Jet Claim issues a statement showing the gross amount, the fee and the net amount. Currency conversion is made at Jet Claim's bank rate on the day of payment.
6. The Client's obligations
- to provide accurate and complete information and the documents requested (booking, boarding pass, ID document);
- not to accept offers, vouchers or payments from the carrier without consulting Jet Claim;
- to report any change of contact details or bank account.
7. Duration and termination
The mandate ends when the case is closed. The Client may withdraw within 14 days of signing at no cost, unless the carrier has already paid. After that, unilateral withdrawal during court proceedings already started entitles Jet Claim to recover the costs advanced. Jet Claim may end the mandate if the case proves ineligible or if the Client does not provide the necessary documents.
8. Liability
Jet Claim does not guarantee a particular outcome; estimates shown on the website are indicative. Jet Claim is not liable for losses caused by incorrect information provided by the Client or by the carrier's refusal to pay despite a favourable ruling, but will continue enforcement steps.
9. Personal data
Data is processed in accordance with the Privacy policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes are settled amicably or by the competent courts in Romania. The Client may also use the European online dispute resolution platform.
